What is your goal in studying science?
My goal is to become a food scientist. I have always loved food, cooking food, and the science behind food.
What does STAMPS mean to you?
STAMPS is very important to me. The program and the faculty have helped me realize my passion and my aspirations in my career. Their support and motivation has helped me overcome many obstacles I had since my first semester here at UNCG. We are like a big family in some way.
What advice do you have for incoming students?
My advice for incoming students is to rely on the faculty and your peer mentors. They have the wisdom and experience that you may have to face at some point. Their willingness to help and support you is the greatest I have ever received. Find what drives your motivation to continue your goals and hold on to it.
